About the work - shown here in wax, my studio in Kansas City produced a series on known boxers for Ringside Products. There were four figures , Mohamed Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Lewis and Rocky Marciano . Two were purchased by the Athletic Dept. of Northwestern Univ. others were purchased by Columbia pictures , many gyms and private collectors as well. The sculpting was principally done by my then wife Becky , subsequent changes and modifications were added by me prior to producing the cast stone editions. Ken Clark
